Meet Marissa. Marissa is a Myofunctional Therapist (OMT) with a dental career beginning in 2014. She graduated from the State College of Florida’s Dental Hygiene program and now serves as the Vice President of the Sarasota-Manatee component of the WCDHA. Her passion for airway health began when she noticed signs of dysfunction in her own young child, inspiring her to pursue advanced training in myofunctional therapy and airway-focused dentistry. Marissa is committed to ongoing education and provides patient-centered care that supports optimal oral function and overall wellness. Outside the clinic, Marissa enjoys life with her husband and three children, tending her garden, and exploring new destinations around the world.
